Luke Emery
Director
Luke was appointed a Co-Director of IPCQ in 2007. Luke has 12 years experience in the Corrosion Control industry and is a NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) certified Coatings Inspector (No. 10016). Luke has been involved in projects throughout Australia and offshore including Asia & the Middle East. Project Management is a focal point of Luke’s day to day activities in the Petrochemical, Offshore, Refining, Pipeline & Manufacturing industries.
Luke is passionate about ensuring that IPCQ are at the forefront of the Corrosion Control industry and that we remain a leader in new technologies, delivering projects against the highest Quality Assurance standards.
Daryl Mears
Director
Daryl has been involved in the Corrosion Control industry within IPCQ for 20 years. In 2007, Daryl was appointed a Co-Director taking over from his Father, Colin Mears, with the vision of continuing IPCQ’s outstanding position as market leaders in the industry. Daryl is an ACA (Australian Corrosion Association) Coatings Inspector, a certified Lead Paint Operator and as well as a qualified Workplace Health & Safety Officer. At present, Daryl manages IPCQ’s Petroleum & Refinery projects throughout Queensland and is passionate about building ongoing successful relationships with our clients across both the private & Government sectors.
Dean Johnson
Project Manager
With over 25 years of experience, Dean is a valuable asset to the IPCQ team. His background encompasses comprehensive hands-on skills in surface preparation & coatings application as well as Project Management abilities including effective communication, great team work & leadership skills. Dean has the ability to understand and promote the needs of the client and lead the team to ensure the successful delivery of projects across the country.
Michael Black
Project Supervisor
Michael has 10 years experience in the Corrosion Control industry and is currently the Project Supervisor for the IPCQ BP Bulwer Island Refinery Operation. Michael is one of few trade qualified operators after recently gaining the newly developed accreditation. He is a professional Project Supervisor with a can do attitude that has developed through his experience in various roles & locations around Australia. He is conscious of safety whilst motivating his crew to get the job done with high quality workmanship & attention to detail. Michael strives to meet deadlines, foster positive moral and is determined to meet expectations of client and company alike.
Bruce Dickison
Project Supervisor
Bruce has over 25 years experience in the Blasting & Painting industry and has a wide variety of experience working on Oil & Gas and Refinery sites as well as within the Marine & Construction industries. His current role involves overseeing projects throughout Southeast QLD from a hands-on Project Management perspective. Bruce is passionate promoting the learning & development of new comers within the industry and is seen as a mentor within IPCQ.
